Welcome to our family holiday home. Four generations of our family have created wonderful memories here. A fabulously comfortable, sleeps 14, holiday home in North Assynt. Boasting enviable views with 3 ensuite double bedrooms, 2 ensuite twin rooms and 2 further twin rooms with a family bathroom. Heated dog room and even child/baby friendly too! Every modern convenience you might need while exploring one of Europes greatest wilderness areas. Only yards from a stunning and quiet beach and equally spectacular waterfall. The perfect place for a multi-generational family holiday, a holiday with friends and children too or just for a grown ups only fishing /walking holiday.
Our father remembered happy holidays here with his mother and elder sister during the latter stages of WWII. He bought the house in 1992 as a haven from a busy work life. In 2009 he and our mother extended and refurbished the house to accommodate expanding families and grandchildren (12 in total!). They too now have memories of playing on the beach that their late Grandfather, Great Aunt and Great Grandmother played on in 1943!
Our wonderful parents most generously left us the house, to share and enjoy with friends and family. In order to secure its future we have to let the house out to guests. We very much hope that you will enjoy and care for it as we do and make the strongest and happiest of memories as we have been fortunate enough to make.
Is quite simply to offer you the same opportunity that we have. To enjoy this wonderful house, in this most amazing setting. In peace and comfort. To get the best of everything that this amazing location has to offer. From walking and beach olympics, to swimming and body surfing, to stalking, hill climbing, sea kayaking, fishing, wildlife tours and feasting on the most fabulous pies from the Lochinver Larder, not to mention the fresh local seafood!
If you have any questions I'd be happy to help and look forward to hearing from you.
